Everyone who watches the news has heard about the Camp Fire in Paradise, California. It is still burning. Seven employees have lost their homes. Imagine being at work while your home is burning and you have no way to go home. All you can do is watch the flames in the distance. I was very impressed by the response time of the firefighters, etc. Unfortunately, there is not much they can do when the flames move that fast. It's impossible to understand how a fire can move that fast until you actually see it.

Chico is not my home terminal. I just happened to be there. At 6:30, when the fire started, it was a clear morning. These two photos were taken two hours later. It seemed like night time while the eastern horizon was all flames. The terminal was not affected. The fair grounds across the street were used as a staging area for the emergency personnel.

If there is anything you can do they would appreciate it. Uncle Rob sent out an email with a link to the Team Estes Relief Fund or you can go to Estes4Me. The Red Cross has been asking for $10 donations. This shows that a little bit does help.https://imgur.com/CD1uFB7https://imgur.com/I8gIGE3
