EVERYBODY HURTS, sometimes.

Those of you who go to the ABF forum know it's a den of non CSPF Teamsters, who are looking out for their own special interest.

Anyone who has watched the congressional hearings knows by now, congress ain't breaking open the piggy bank until the MULTI employer pension fund system is overhauled.

I suspect in the next six months, the group of people most against a FIX for CSPF, are members of other Teamster multi employer pension funds. Who are going to have to take a hair cut too. (that's congress speak)

CSPF sent out a post card urging us to contact our congressmen during the week of the 4th of JULY. I urge other Teamster multi employer pension fund members to contact their congressmen as well. I know it's hard to ask for a hair cut. But all Teamsters are in this together.

I don't think so.
Why hasn't our leadership sought help from some of the industries that will be negatively impacted by this looming disaster? This isn't just going to devastate individuals. What about the travel and tourism industries? Casinos, Cruise Lines Branson, Nashville, the list goes on and on. Retirees with disposable income help keep these industries flush, if not afloat. I'll bet if they were lobbying like They well should be, problem solved!
