To make $97,000 a year you have to average over 3500 miles a week.Sorry can't see it happening week after week. To estands4evil,the drivers that had runs cut ,nobody said that a run was forever, they still have work, they got to bid their start times.None of them were making $80,000 a year running I-81,running Richmond they're getting $60,000.Does it suck ?Yes,but other drivers have lost their runs too. It happens, they weren't the first, won't be the last.
So do you think the so called change is working? I lost my run about 16 weeks ago and been doing the wild board ever since and been averaging about 2500 miles a week. I guess it could be better. Im just waiting to see if all the changes get in place and the so called day runs start working. Im out of 064 so you kind of see the super change we went thru.
We lost just about all of out runs from 25 or so to 7. Now were a dark terminal at the end of line. And the waiting at most of the yards is getting pretty bad. When you arrive at a terminal and your 10 hours is up at 1300 hrs and there making you wait till 2100 hrs to get back on the road is getting pretty bad. The waiting game is on. Does it get better/I guess we'll have to wait and see. cruzcontrol
