If your going to quote Benjamin Franklin, then at least do it in his own words and context.
"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

Benjamin Franklin was writing about a tax dispute between the Pennsylvania General Assembly and the family of the Penns, the proprietary family of the Pennsylvania colony who ruled it from afar. And the legislature was trying to tax the Penn family lands to pay for frontier defense during the French and Indian War. And the Penn family kept instructing the governor to veto. Franklin felt that this was a great affront to the ability of the legislature to govern. And so he actually meant purchase a little temporary safety very literally. The Penn family was trying to give a lump sum of money in exchange for the General Assembly's acknowledging that it did not have the authority to tax it.

The fascists already tried to destroy the country on January 6th. I don't see any problem with a President who is looking out for the people and their environmental/health safety. Who is really trying to destroy the country and feeding their propaganda/lies?
Yeah I guess that’s the first place anybody goes to take over a country is a freaking brick building with no high value targets you guys are so crazy to think that way it was just a bunch of people got caught up in the moment but if you really want to know from an ex military person how to take over country you start with the radio stations the TV stations and it would help to have the military behind you you don’t go after a bunch bureaucrats that all they did was run and hide and don’t amount to ****!

Remember, there is the option to be tested daily. In schools there was no "pandemic" of Polio at one time but you were still required to have been vaccinated.
The Polio vaccine was tested for 6 years before mandated, and Polio had something like a 30% death rate if you caught the virus. Death rates for Covid are quite low, and many have natural immunity. The Covid vaccines that are distributed now aren’t Fully approved yet. All are still under Emergency Status. (although the Pfizer one that has been approved and not yet manufactured supposedly has the same ingredients as the Emergency one. They’ve apparently got to use up the existing millions first)…

I’ve been fully vaxxed, by the way, so it makes no difference to me. I just can’t stand UnConstitutional mandates. Per SCOTUS, only State Legislatures and Private Companies can mandate vaccines. No State Legislature has passed a mandate, to my knowledge.

It appears that you have no idea what a Facist is, because the Democrat Party comes closest to governing that way than any other Party. Fascists order Industry what and how to manufacture. The Green New Deal fits Facism In its Climate Rules. Facists normally partner with Socialists (National SOCIALIST Worker’s Party) to order people how to live (like Vaccine mandates, and ObamaCare). All those isms are Leftist Idealogies, because Marxism, Communism have Central Control as their Tenets. The USA is based on Individual Control.

I am very aware of what fascism is. And although it can be said that fascism can rear it's ugly head from the left or right, the worse form of it has been from the right. I'm speaking of course about Nasi fascism. Histler and thus the party despised the left, socialists and communists. Often they were arrested and sent to camps for rehabilitation or worse. And although the Nasis used the term Socialist in their name it really was in terms of the white aryan race, excluding any outsiders. Histler was for capitalism as long as it paid it's deference to the party, thus himself. The current Trump Republican movement has uncanny resemblances to early Nasi development.
Here's a good article both pro and against this definition of this Trump movement.

Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism[1] characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and of the economy

Big difference between Polio and Covid. Covid spread is far more contagious. Again, you can't compare technology and vaccine development from yesterday to today. The speed of technological advancement is unprecedented to the yester years.

You are delusional. Facism is Far Left, just short of Marxism. European Socialists define it as Right, because it’s not full blown EuroSocialist. Comparing it under our American Political Systems, it is Far Left…

Draw a straight line. Put complete Government Control on the Left. Put complete Freedom from Government control on the Right. Everything controlling would be left of center, everything individual would be on the right of center. Communism, Socialism, Marxism, Progressivism (slow to change to Communism), and Facism all are Central Government Control, so they have to go on the left. Our Constitution places Individuals in charge of our lives, liberty, and responsibilities as Citizens, so the Right fits our American Constitutional way of governing. We are supposed to tell the Government what to do- not Vice versa.

You are using Euro-Socialist thinking and Wikipedia, which takes input from whoever enters it.

in Europe, use a railroad train track analogy. Both rails are going the same direction- toward Marxist-Socialist Governance. The Left rail would be called Socialism. The Right rail would be called Facism. But they both carry the train toward the same destination. So both are Leftwing.

in America, we use the straight line analogy I described in the previous post. Leftists and Constitutionalists going in opposite directions…

Which side carries the support of the Neo Nasi party? The klu klux Clan? Are ultra nationalists, pasted with the flag? Definitely not the left. As they say if it quacks like a duke, walks like a duck, it's a duck. Neo Nasi party is a strong supporter of Trump. Fascism at it's worst. Because this guy IS of their mindset. Many of you may not agree with some of these ideals. They didn't in Nasi Germany either in the early days, but later were pulled, forced to take it's stand, later, during the purge.

I respect your intellect and opinions but just because a party has the support of Neo Nasi's or the /••\ doesn't make the party/candidate that way. It could very well be that the support is based on the lessor of two evils. Just something to consider.

Even if his father was confirmed to have been of that mindset and association with the previously mentioned groups?

You appear to post and accuse based on emotional views, accusing Parties of supporting systems from your anecdotal accounts, regardless of evidence to the contrary.

I post on how parties follow tenets of particular systems. The Isms of Socialism, Communism, Marxism, Progressive Slow to Change to Communism, and Facism all govern via one main tenet- Central Control ordering Individuals how to live, and Manufacturing what to make and how to make it. Those are all limbs of the same family tree.

Since you accused Trump, in particular, of being a (⊙▃⊙), examine how he governed. Like it or not, his Administration followed our US Constitutional restraints and recognized personal liberty more closely than any US President since Reagan (At least, perhaps even more).

During Reagan’s time, there were approx 8 “Czars” (Bureaucratic Depts). By GW Bush’s time, they had doubled to 16. Obama had 44. That’s the Central Control that fits (⊙▃⊙), Facist, and Marxist Tenets of governing. The Trump Administration tried to cut back on that type governing, and yet you accuse him of being a (⊙▃⊙)- evidence to the contrary.

Under our Constitution- Congress is supposed to make laws, and not Bureaucrats, but they’ve ceded their power. Take ObamaCare, for example. When passed in 2010, it was 2400 pages of rules. many things described in it were power was awarded to the Health and Human Services Secretary to decided how to rule (instead of recognizing Congress is to govern). For each of the 3 years following 2010, there were 3600 More pages of rules added to that original 2400 pages. Rules made by a Central Controller, not Congress, as per our Constitutional System. That, my friend, is Marxism, Facism, or Socialism- whichever fits the situation of rules vs individualism at that moment. Like I described- today‘s Democrat Party fits those descriptions, and not Right Wingers…

Do you really want to begin a discussion of the Green New Deal, where entire industries and power systems are destroyed, remade, or eliminated, just to award the Government more Power and Control?????? I can bring John Kerry into your discussion as example number 1 of a modern Facist….
