Took the day off to get this "chore" outta the way, 60 mile trip found the joint by going into main bldg and directed to another, piece of paper taped to front door, like you can see it from the street! I read the web site and what they recommend to bring and that I did, license, soc sec card, DD214, birth certificate, baptismal record just in case. all they want is the license and birth cert. Next day we turn in the receipt and was informed you will get refunded in about 3 weeks in your check AND they take out Federal taxes on it, talk about double dipping!!:Flame-On:

Yeah I know. I drive 130 miles looking for the Port of Savannah.
Having picked up plenty at the ports before I think I know where I'm going.
Here it is, nope, that's Georgia Port Authority. Not the same thing. Huh.
Turns out to be in an old shopping center. Small sign maybe a foot square on window says TWIC Port of Savannah.
Funny thing, when they said port, I was kinda looking for ships and stuff.

well when I turned mine in, the company paid $94 of my federal taxes on that pay stub. I almost didnt find it! I think you need to check on this they are not suppose to take more taxes on the $94.

Homeland Insecurity

Oh, we're talking about two different things.
I got the hazmat prints last year for $89. In a State Farm Insurance building near Atlanta.
This TWIC finger print was $132.50
Remember when they said Homeland Security was combining duplicate agencies?
They also got my prints last year for a firearms permit.
The government can never have enough agencies.
