A Florida bridge was shut down on Thursday morning in winds brought on by hurricane Nicole.

The incident happened before 9:30 a.m. on the Dames Point Bridge in Jacksonville, Florida.

According to News4Jax, The semi was traveling across the top of the bridge when it was blown over. The driver was trapped but was soon safely rescued. He was not hurt in the incident.

Overturned semi-truck on Dames Pointe Bridge.

So far this morning, we’ve seen several semis jackknife and/or flip.

If you can stay in today, I highly recommend it.
