A dramatic crash involving three tractor-trailers, a box truck and a car, which all became engulfed in flames, brought Interstate 95 to a standstill for hours today in Brevard County.

Two of the semi-truck drivers died in the crash. Authorities have not identified either of the two dead.

One of the semi-trucks was burned so badly it was impossible to tell its make or in what state it was registered, Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Trooper Kim Miller said.

One of the semis was hauling pork loins, Miller said. It belongs to a North Carolina trucking company. Troopers were trying to identify that driver Sunday afternoon.

Another semi-truck was full of U.S. mail, the Highway Patrol said. That driver was flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical but stable condition.

The box truck driver, who was hauling compressed cardboard, was unharmed.
