Charges against three remaining officers dropped; no charges stick against six officers in Freddie Gray case.
Prosecutors dropped all remaining charges against three Baltimore police officers accused in the arrest and death of Freddie Gray in a downtown courtroom on Wednesday morning, concluding one of the most high-profile criminal cases in Baltimore history.

The startling move was an apparent acknowledgement of the unlikelihood of a conviction following the acquittals of three other officers on similar and more serious charges by Circuit Judge Barry G. Williams, who was expected to preside over the remaining trials as well.

It also means the office of Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn J. Baltimore had the highest increase in homicides in the nation last year, a criminologist commissioned by the U.S. Department of Justice reported, with more than twice as many extra killings as the three cities that tied for second.
The city suffered 127 more homicides in 2015.

Wow! That one is tough. You have Michael Brown who started the hands up don't shoot craze even though it was based on a lie. On the other hand the Freddie incident caused looting, arson and dancing around fires in the streets. Urban legend I'd have go with the hands up thing.

Personally I preferred the Freddie thing because the riots were better TV.

Before making our final decision, we are going to have to add up the number of businesses that were burned to the ground, the number of businesses that were looted, the number of vehicles that were burned, the number of Nike's that were stolen, and check to see how much money Racebait Inc. collected for their rabble rousing.
Then we can decide.
