They were motor carrier #1 in NC Yep fast freddie I think they started in 1919

I always liked that mascot the few times I've seen it. Pretty catchy. My first union carrier Nielsen Freight Lines had just purchased a carrier named Kern Valley Trucking that had a hound dog mascot with cowboy hat riding a bucking bronco. Stupid me being young/dumb didn't save any of that stuff. Did you work for Fast Freddie Jeff?

They built a new terminal in Cabarrus county not too long before they closed.
I think Robert Yates Racing bought it.
