i'll bet too, he was not using a truckers GPS, but a automobile one.


i have a rand mcnally, that can switch from car to truck, so it is dual purpose. one day in my car, i was using it, but it was set for trucks. i got so many damned warnings the road i was on, was restricted and the bridge limits were in violation.

too much faith is put into GPS, and if the incorrect GPS is used, this will happen.

the days of a driver buying a real road atlas as a backup to compare to a GPS, are long gone.
