Fuel prices: The question we've all been asking.

i don't know, here the prices are down. $2.29/9 in my state, across the line into MA, $2.27/9 for 87 octane.

Oil still has to be refined before it can be used as fuel. That is our biggest problem. It isn't lack of oil, it's lack of refineries. We hit our production cap and it won't get any better until more refineries are built.

We can import refined oil, but that is costly.

Ever wonder why fuel in the Middle East is under 50 cpg? They have refineries everywhere.

ive heard all kinds of reasons why and how gas prices are set The one that made the most sense was market speculators and investors. since we are seeing china diving in the market due to devaluation of their currency Investors and speculators are staying away from crude oil markets and in order to get more interest the suppliers have to lower the barrel price

Hence; buy low sell high
