FedEx Freight | FXF and Yellow properties

We bought no properties in this opportunity if I read correctly. I'm just a wrench so I know nothing of Ops and freight movement. XPO grabbed a bunch, (nearly half the $ amt total) But I can't post link from the source for reason. Should this be concerning?

Not really surprising,given that FxF just shuttered 29 locations. FxF is not hurting for terminals.

There may be some strategic opportunities for XPO to grab a few old Yellow locations that are better located than their current terminals in said areas. Close a less desirable terminal and move into the old Yellow one.
Or, could just be forward looking. Able to purchase a turn-key terminal for cents on the dollar, as opposed to new construction.



Definitely not something I'd worry abt as a Fx employee.

We prefer to close terminals and sell them to our competitors.

ODFL didn't buy any either, there are still 46 up for grabs in the next round
