Yellow | got a question

If the union has 25% of yrc where's all the money going it should be put in our pension for all members.
large bonuses for the occupants of the palace in Kansas City and upkeep on tractors with a million and a half miles, those screws to keep the dash from falling onto the floor are not cheap!

If you don't recall, the huge reverse split Yrc did not long after the mou establishing our 26% ownership pretty much wiped out our equity in the company. I believe our equity now is a real small fraction of 1%. Basically 0. I'm sure someone will come up with the exact number.

They dont. Teamsters owns 0% of yrc. The 25% you are thinking of was given to the rank and file in the form of yrc stock in a 401k account set up for each individual.
Which most took out and blew it on beer!
I left it to accumulate dust!
Nah... Just kept it in to add to my 401k.
It's a little up and down more up.... But it was foolish to take it out and not let it work for you somewhere.

Come on Man! what is wrong with a few dollars of beer?:lmao::guiness::guinesssmilie::heart borken::hopelessness::hurt::sadwavey:bye bye, money. :stirthepot:

It was only 1800 bucks or around there. Chump change.
Some guys figured it was like hitting the lottery and blew it.... I put mine in with my K and it has helped with my bottom line.
Grocery money... Or beer money... But I don't drink.... For retirement!

These guys might know where some of the money went.

Ya... Sure they do. They are not gonna tell you though.
Workin off the sweat of the common man.
How can you be comfortable with that?
I couldn't. But this world has people in it that don't give a ::shit:: where the money comes from. As long as they get it.

Beer is a much better investment than yrc stock.

Is it part of my pension?

It is tax deferred savings meant to be used as money you will withdraw when retired. It grows tax free (until withdrawn). It very foolish to withdraw those funds early. There are large tax consequences for doing that. You can have those funds TRANSFERRED to your own rollover IRA account if that's what you want to do but if you take possession of those funds now the IRS gets involved. Speak to folks at Prudential before you do anything.
