I'm sure I knew your dad, I started in 1955 in Charl and ran Jax.
We started pulling the 2 45s with 250 Cummins, the FRC told Ryder to maintain 50 mph or park them, 250s couldn't do the job.
We wound up with 15 of the KWs, I think they were sent West after we quit pulling the 45s.
