Any language changes less than what we have now should be a no vote! This has nothing to do with refinancing a loan!
 
These proposals should not get past the 2 man meeting, unless IBT is pushing locals to sell it to members!

The two men won't have the balls to stand and be heard saying, "this sucks I'm not recommending it". Mark my words.

That's exactly what the meeting is for. The IBT has already negotiated with the company, and now they will present the agreement to the BA's at the 2-man meeting. I called mine yesterday and told him if it contained the language that's been floating around here the last week, tell the IBT to stuff it up their asses!

Everybody get the word out to the 2 men going to these meetings, if what we are hearing holds true, then this trash should never even come to a vote!

I'm with you on that but my money says it's, "union officials from all around the country unanimously approve Teamster job saving package".
 
If my ''union officials'' try to sell these proposals to me, they also will be receiving a no vote when running for their positions!

YES! IT DOES !!!!!!!!!. Everyone wants someone to stand up and be counted, as a way of saying you have had enough. Now someone does , maybe evan by mistake and you all jump down his throat. I don't get it. Willyb is new to the boards, give him a break. There is someone on here that puts everything in red and it is ok. heck I like triplex and KK. But come on!. I am thankful we are getting new members and I am real thankful you all have a job.. :flame:
 
Such a momentous decision should be voted on my all the members. The union officials will still have jobs either way.It is not for them to decide to accept or turn down YRCs offer.
 
A simple this stinks and im not recommending these proposals to the members from every local would go a long way. I say again, changing language has nothing to do with refinancing a loan!
 
Fr8, It`s worse if a piece of crap agreement goes out to the members and we vote it down! They know we don't want any agreement with the concessions that have been floating around here. They need to vote it down before it comes back to us! The BA for YRC and another chosen union official will be part of the 2-man commitee going down. Call them and voice your opinions!
