those green cf tractors were cfs canadian freightways . when cf picked up freight going to canada they didnt have to give it to interline carrier . they had ther own company to deliver it . keep the revenue all the way . .
 
CF had green tractors back in the 60s all over the USA. Canadian Freightways was their Canadian Company (separate), when CF closed in US Canadian Freightways stayed alive and eventually was bought by TFI the huge Canadian Transportation that bought UPS Freight.
