At one time Navajo & Jones Truck Lines were profitable well managed companies. Both were bought then milked them dry by parasites interested only in a quick profit. We bought Navajo just before deregulation for the operating rights & property. The employees were dove tailed in by seniority. Just before the buyout employee's paychecks were often no good. The equipment had little to no PM & was sold & replaced with newer equipment. When a trucking company starts having financial problems, the first cut is to equipment maintenance.
