Nobody knows less about freight than tshack. Pure numbers guy, and no common sense.
Tshack came to our terminal years back to give a pep talk. Told everyone that "we arent laying anyone off" 12 hours later 10 guys got layoff letters in the mail. Watch out for him he's a snake and will lie right to your face whether you are in management or a driver.

He's the TM but he knows better than to cross dave. t shack hired dave so he's a made guy. closing shift OT was up 40%
when dave was walking the dock. The weights and measures guy was off for surgery so dave acted as a dock walker. you NEVER started loading until 8 pm or so. and you stripped out headers and docked them. then dave would make what he called a plan. dave's been off for a couple of weeks but he's back monday so we can have our overtime back. for the last week or so we've been at 100% on time departures, but write ups have been down, so dave will knock the wheels off when he comes back.he puts the focus back on write ups and suspensions where it belongs.
Night Dock's are out of control at most barns and stripping out head loads is a normal thing now days & docking freight too , as they are making office desk clerks into supervisor's because nobody will apply , and so they are making load plans and have never ever drove a forklift or loaded a trailer ??
TM's dont run any show. They are number puppets. Nothing else.
Personality or not, the TM's in this company are puppets and yes men. As soon as they stop being that, they are removed.
Bad news , T-Shack got hurt this week patting himself on the back !! and also T-Shack our health insurance is NOT free ,we pay -15% weekly for it , per union this was the choice , telling us up front we are paying for insurance , or just do the -15% and call it a give back instead ! 
But still can't see what yrc gained by taking away a week's vacation time ?? just lowered moral lower yet !

They took the one week of vacation away for the benefit of the employees. With everyone loving their job so much, they've allowed the employees to have one extra week at their job, and another week of employment bliss.
Enjoy the cheerleader speech , you guys are doing such a great job
& we will get you the tools to do your job !, but no talk of giving us back our weeks vac. time or -15% back ???? 
He will do nothing but throw out numbers. Any problem you have, he will have a stat for. Dont believe one word out of his mouth. I haven't run across a bigger snake in this company than Tshack
