I see Cincinnati, Oh. is hiring road driver's.

My question is what is the difference between Hub and line haul driver's ?

Hub drivers will drive to another terminal,work the dock, then drive back home same night generally. Line haul generally will not work the dock,will drive to another terminal and turn back or drive to a meet point and back ( these are usually bid, schedual runs ) and xtra board will drive from terminal to terminal, and for the most part, be out all week and home on weekends

Thanks rjjr, what is the milage pay and hourly pay?

Top city pay is $22 - $25 per hour depending on the terminal. Top linehaul is .535 a mile. Usually the new guys start out at $3 less or .03 cents less but that is all up to the terminal manager.

i think starting pay for linehaul is $.455/mile, hub is $.4525 and top pay for hub is like $.495.
