I guess your TM forgot where the hot dog store was.That's pretty nice but did you really expect FDXF to give a crap about you ? You did get all your stops off and that just one more skid on after you were full and already overweight ?
Historically, Company covers the main dish (Turkey, Ham, whatever) and employees bring side dishes, deserts, whatever.
Probably no manager will request such funding, since we (express & ground) are struggling. Corp. Brass may have nipped it in the bud, preemptively. I don't know and I didn't ask.
Note the OP mentions Express still offering the traditional celebratory food... But THAT'S OK, we EARNED a Bonus, which can provide a bunch of super-premium meals.
