As President O'Brien once told the company, we still have a contract in effect at YRC Freight, Holland, and New Penn. If that is the case, Article 6 of the national contract (pages 35-38), might prevent the company from much of the shady stuff they're trying to ram down our throats! Read carefully and ask your B.A. about it or call the IBT Freight Division for guidance. FIGHT THE POWER!

Once the local unions meet with freight terminal stewards and management to discuss the change in detail, remaining issues not settled or special requests will be taken back to the IBT change of operations committee for decisions. Those "decisions" will probably look similar to these back in 2012...

Local 710 is worthless all the Holland drivers in Wheeling and McCook have to transfer out of state not being merged into 309's seniority list even though a bunch of drivers retired, and they are training people off the street.

Local 71 is useless. losing road bids at 329 (cn) to 653 (cn) yellow. And we can't follow our frieght. But yet we can go to Harrisburg pa. Roanoke virginia or Richmond Virginia. Which we don't even run out of 329. So confused with no clear answers from our local.

The company told city drivers they would not be able to merge into the Reddaway terminal at first.
In the end they bid where their seniority would hold.
Still waiting for those negotiated Reddaway work rules......

All New Penn road drivers will be pulling twice the freight for the same pay if forced to pull doubles.
Even if the NMFA has the rate, our company does not use them.
Therefore if President O'Brien said that he will not accept concessions......this IS a concession.
Good, it's about time the New Penn road drivers started pulling some real freight and not just the candy a** little itty bitty freight on the floor. :hide: :hilarious:
