FedEx Freight | How Many Runs Did Your Center Lose? (12/24 Bid)

Anyone with any time in the industry knows that you don't put bids out until a month before new bid. How is it three months before new bid starts they know what runs to cancel? Two reasons maybe three IMHO.

1. You are losing contracts with customers.
2. You have signed new CONTRACTS WITH PT and they start new bid.
3. Their lobbiest are tell them the economy about to crash.

Good luck everyone.

My wish is they sell to someone who actually wants to haul freight.
??? New bid will start early december,1 month 2 weeks from now.

That's not a new bid. That's ground one month bid. I'm referring to January system bid.
We dont have ground bids, last bid started aug and now dec is the next company bid

No……. They are lining us up with Ground peak season!!!!
Well ground peak isn’t in December. We’ve always started Ground peak right after Thanksgiving not a week into December. But that’s at least for my center anyway.. lately this whole place has been ran like a franchise so who knows and who cares anyway

The one I just posted is our system bid. We don't have ground runs currently. Billings runs are mostly triples. I came over from cgt a year ago. The setup is completely different. We line freight from the midwest to the west coast. Our shortest run is 454 miles. Mostly all triples and rocky sets. I'll update the board this week on if we are losing runs. We have definitely slowed down in the last year. Kinda scary but when I did the transfer I took my company seniority into consideration when I moved. I don't have a whole lot but at least 40% of the guys are under me so if it gets slower I'll just uber and do onlyfans until unfortunately some guys will have to make the switch and I move up.

The bid is for dec 8th the one we have every 4 mos, last one was effective in August, has nothing to do with ground, our term doesn't have any ground bids and we're losing a 520mile run
You all need to get your info straight before you start spreading rumors that affect the livelihood of many
