The drivers here asked what other drivers at other companies are paid to help them decide how they want to vote. I am not gloating as I said earlier, we all get paid good.
So that means that no one at OD can make over 10 hrs o/t for the week . So the union driver can get twice as much as the nonunion driver . Common sense would dictate that the union guy gets a better deal .
I’m a former PIE CF did some time at Con-way and @R67 for YRC...currently at OD on the extra road board with about 10 guys seniority...I made 108k last year with a 5 day work week unless I chose to work 6....OD is the best job I’ve ever had....would I feel the same if I was in the city for OD with no OT? Probably not... most city drivers work 45 hours or so and are welcome to run line haul in the weekend if there are extra runs...
