Estes | Hub laydown runs going away

During the early weeks of COVID they didn't want us staying in hotels. It didn't take long before they went back to layovers. I think they realize it's better to pay for hotel rooms because the freight gets to it's destination faster.

Also Riverside recently started a Santa Rosa layover. It's possible there will be some changes when the new bids come out. This thread reminds me of how every year someone says shuttle will be incorporated into line haul instead of city but it never happens.

I only know of 1 hub laydown that was moved to linehaul and I think it was only because of a communication error. I think they thought the driver had no dock time on that run
