Having run hundreds of thousands of miles across I80 in the Keystone, I have my beliefs/opinions based off the information provided but that is neither here nor there at this point. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and our co-workers at XAB. So sorry to hear this..
My thoughts and prayers go out to his Family and friends at XAB ,I no longer work at conway but i was trained by Mark when i worked there and he will be truely missed
So sad to read this. Believe I read somewhere of around 900+ drivers lost every year. That's 3 per day EVERY DAY. That's way too many. Rest in peace fellow LTL driver.
BTW, PA officials should be prosecuted for the conditions they allow to exist on their roads on a regular basis. Too many people are injured and killed in this state due to their ineptitude.

No doubt man.. I used to work at XSN and the winter road conditions on I80 across the Keystone were a joke.. The Pa Pike which often gets worse weather between Bedford and New Stanton than I80 is just wet while I80 is treacherous ice.. I've had thie misfortune of getting off the Pa Pike Commission's perfectly maintained road so I could run Pa 31 over the Hazmat hump.. It's a friggin joke and half the reason I'm not driving this year..
Wasn't gonna say too much about it yet but I will now.. A 2002 Peterbilt with Texas plates.. Used to get passed by those incompetent morons all the time and they could not hold their lane on dry roads.. Typical Pa I80 situation - road conditions suck and some yayhoo from Texas in a Pete blows up.. Just so happens one of our drivers was the victim this time.. Screw you large car drivers - you just ruined the life of an an entire family.. I'd like to encounter Mr Webb at some point....
