this is the forth week that i didnt get out on my start day. last two weeks it took two days. is it this slow everywere or are they just using more cheap trucking cos. to do the work?
 
seems to be hit and miss,one day a term. is slow..next day they are ok. (right place at the right time). i know at my term. there seems to be a increase in people wanting to work on the weekend. good for them... but mty"s the pipeline for the Xtra boarders to get started
 
It seems to be a little slow from the mileage numbers I've been hearing. We should be wide open right now at the end of the month and all the Federal Emergency money floating around
 
im more worried seeing outside trucks doing what we should be doing. i know its cheaper but have a hart and throw us your loyal employes a bone and not the compitition
 
Being a city driver I've noticed a drop for a bout the last 3 weeks. I ran an area yesterday that had no pick-ups what so ever. But in talking to some other drivers from other companies, they said they noticed a slow down also. I don't think the economy is as rosie as we keep hearing.
 
They are looking for drivers to run the weekend and the docks seem full. I think its the end of the month rush.

Guess that might be me Mildew. Sitting so much in motels this week the CNBC Business Channel ladies are really looking good. I'm so pathetic.

I fell in love with some of them weather Ch ladies. Also the Spanish soaps are awesome.
 
I know at 055 my last three layovers i had thier two this week and one last week have all been over 14 to 16 hours. and what i consider a lil worse is my empty miles have been well over 500+ total this past week

"Don't Ask..Don't Tell"...It's none of our business how many empty miles they force us to run...They are the boss..We are the slaves...LOL..:)
