SEFL | January time off offer

I would demand the offer in writing. One of the main reasons I worked/drove thru crappy winter weather( 13.5 years at DFL) was preserve my earned vacation for summertime.
Pyle does something similar. Take the winter off. Jan, Feb, maybe into March. Single or multiple weeks. Everything stays intact. Company covers the employee part of the health ins. Just no paycheck. And I am thinking not eligible for unemployment
Companies pay into unemployment every week for every employee. For years at my last job, they bid two week intervals. Don’t know the nickels & dimes of it, but it’s a win for employees. Guys that can afford it get extra vaca. Guys that need work, get it.
