Looks like it's done some work. Most of the trucks did back then. Only time they got washed was a steam cleaning at PM time. Big difference to the sterile plastic trucks of today.
I find beauty in any machine that reflects the job it does. We old guys also reflect the hard miles & our age.
Most younger guys have no idea that the B&S bunker blower motor was the reefer in those days.
The nose of the trailer was loaded with ice and a fan blew cool air inside the trailer.
The Great Danes were built in Savannah Ga.
We called the Brockways (Yankee Fords) the older ones had wooden doorframes.
