I thought about that question VERY carefully for a month. I decided last week that even if we could put US Troops into battle in Ukraine they would be destroyed in detail there. We cannot ever put enough Americans long enough to matter. Not with the Reserves Russia would generate. Remember they are a Nation that mobilizes 10 million to 20 million Nationally on the Immortal Regiment day in Remembering their own fathers and grandfathers who bought and paid for their freedoms very much the same as ours have.
We could not assemble such a host now. Nor deploy and supply them long enough there. Not with the Russian Mud Season due in 7 weeks or less (Ground failed to freeze, its already mud season now) and spring rains coming that will just sink everything until Summer. History has taught that before.
I refuse to support a stupid leadership in DC that makes the decision to go deploy troops into Ukraine for a formal battle. I refuse and denouce as foolish any effort by NATO to frighten the Russian with their little symbolic manuvers and alerts. In fact, Europe has had their water carried fro them by 70 effing years by Americans across GENERATIONS deployed as if for battle at a moments notice all that time. I say that NATO is to be abolished, retired and Europe needs to consider their own future. Same as Ukraine. They have big time Leardership problems but they are a FREE PEOPLE and MUST sort that themselves.
There was a time I would do war. Even nuclear war. But those days are done. We have had our belly full of war these last 30 to 40 years in my lifetime. I know that USA is facing big problems that probably could be existanial in regards to our ability to afford our way of life or unify and fight the foolish leadership that the 81 million imaginarys put into DC two years ago.
What a waste.
Germany doesn't even want to get involved, they did away with nuclear power and rely on Russia for natural gas, we have to be complete jerks to take this task on, fix the shxt wrong with our own country, side note just saw where Pelosi is worth 200 million
Unfortunately, were all burned out by Unnessary Wars. The Ukraine copied our Constitution, and our Governance. They are about the only Nation we SHOULD BE OVER THERE DEFENDING.
