Republican Senator blasts leftist rocker

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has praised Spotify after the music streaming service decided to remove Neil Young’s music following the musician's demands that the platform removes podcaster Joe Rogan.Spotify announced it would be pulling all of Young’s music after he accused the platform of “spreading fake information about vaccines” by streaming Rogan’s podcasts.“They can have Rogan or Young. Not both,” Young said in a letter.Later, Paul commended Spotify for siding with Rogan, changing the words to Young’s song “Hey Hey, My My” to mock the musician.

“Bye Bye, Hey Hey, Neil Young is gone today,” Paul wrote.
