Wow. They just laid 6 off on the dock today at 051 Winston terminal. Normally do 2 or 3 but done 6 at one time today

Not unusual for this time of year but 6??? Yikes!!

Its bad slow.. Believe it or not, I was told they have tried to not layoff and held off as long as possible. They want to move freight.

All the years I worked at 042 I don't recall ever having a layoff? Our linehaul manager gave us lots of mini's and we used to bitch about it but looking back I am guessing he did it to keep all of us working.
