With the pending sale later this year of UPS Freight to TFI International, leadership changes are taking place in anticipation of the new ownership.

UPS Inc. announced on April 29 that UPS Freight President Rich McArdle will retire from the Atlanta-based company in June after more than 39 years of service……

That seems to be a solid 1st move. Paul Hoelting, who has currently over 30 years here, pretty much knows this company inside and out. I do remember when we were bought out by UPS, Hoelting was one of the few that didn't agree with bundled parcel/freight pricing. He wanted to stay the course on being competitive on freight only pricing.

Every Manager in every position that came from UPS and that culture, needs to either drop that culture like a bad habit or go.
McArtle will always be the face of the shut down in 2018.

I agree...
But, IMHO you are going to see managers "auditioning for a job" so to speak, it will be a free for all till TFI gets a handle on things..
