ABF | Letter From Ernie

CAT got your tongue Canary, you gave no response. Canary how many ABF jobs is it acceptable to lose permanently by going on strike. Canary when are you going to step up to the plate, tell the ABF drivers, ABF can't stay in business. Paying massive pension contributions AND FEDEX freight wages. IT'S math CANARY, am I right or do you have that special "socialist math" that proves me wrong.
You told me you would not be back until December. Now bubba you little fork tongued devil.

there hasn' been a increase in the amount paid to Centrals states since 2010. So how did Ernie help us again?

I've been trying to get that same answer out of him along with some others for awhile now Muler... but he just seems to think fishing is the answer to everything these days.

Drivers will have no problem getting a job of equal pay, you on the other hand will not fair so well....
GO40 if the UPS contract is ratified by august. And retiree health care is still reasonable, I'm out the door by the end of august. To collect that first UPS/TEAMSTER check on September 1st. My only concern GO40 is my fellow Teamsters are going to run CSPF into the ground. I won't be 65 for 9 more years. If CSPF goes under, and UPS has to pay my pension FOR THE THIRD TIME, it is doubtful I'll get greatly reduced health care coverage. You know where my 401k money would be going then, it sure wouldn't be going in my boats gas tank.

So GO40, I hope the Butch Lewis, MPRA II or any other bailout gets passed. Its is illogical to think there will be a bail out, but it will most certainly be in my best financial interest if there is. Go40 wish me a long and happy retirement.

Since it seems like you have the same fascination and preoccupation when it comes to GO40 as Canary seeing how you mention his name 4 times as well in your short post... I'll give you the same advice I gave you as in Canary's case...

Tell me... just what's with you and all this fascination and preoccupation you have when it comes to Canary? Do you realize that you just said his name 4 times in this short paragraph? Tell me... do you look upon him as a father figure or do you just admire the man and wish he would respect you as much as you do him?

Here's some advice... just calm down a bit and quit pleading with him to recognize you and if he thinks that you are worthy of some recognition... he will eventually give it to you...Ok? That's the problem with you kids today... you have no patience... you always want and demand things right now.

And here's another little piece of advice... badgering someone to get their approval like you did here with... "am I right Canary... C'mon Canary am I right... you know I'm right Canary"... isn't helping in getting that recognition that you are so desperately seeking one bit.

Oh my... you're right GO40... bubba seems to be coming unglued again... lol

I hope that his finger just got stuck on that explanation point button... if not... bubba's in the first stages of a total melt down.

Who needs guns? Just give me a keyboard and I can bring insecure people like you to tears in no time... lol

Muler, you are absolutely correct, as a soon to be retired TEAMSTER, I should be preoccupied with leisure activities. Not fighting for a good NMFA. How many companies in the NMFA this year? About 50! Management will cave, no place for the freight to go, except another union carrier. I'm done on the Trucking Boards. Nobody has a firm grasp on reality there.

Now bubba, you said you would not be back until December and look at you now. Hey don't retire I hate having to run down a shopping cart at Walmart. Besides I heard Lowe's has a sell on aluminium colored paint and you know you always wanted to upgrade that trailer to aluminum. Besides your retirement fund has taken a hit the price of aluminium cans is down.

I will miss your insight to the weak and mindless. You have spent years bothering Brothers on all matters of pension. Now you can't take what you dish out. I know you have to get down to the local blood plasma selling center to pad that retirement account but don't forget we will be here when you pay your electric bill. BYE bubba.

Yes... you are done on Truckingboards but it's not because that nobody has a firm grasp on reality here... it's because of you acting like a childish idiot for two years. How about putting the blame where it belongs... and that would be yours alone.

It's sad to say... but you won't be missed. Bye... I'll see you in a couple of weeks.

The cat does not have my tongue, young man.........I had already answered you....

Apparently you didn't check the post previous to yours....

Patience, young man......

Hey, look. UPS is hard to get into. You'd have to pay some dues, and crawl before you walk. I can't see you having the gumption to make it, quite frankly. Plus...you pretty clearly hate the union. Why not go to Fedex?

I'm not sure I understood what YOU were saying in stating you'd be receiving UPS/Teamster checks.
The ups/teamster pension fund pays the whole pension (including CSPF's share) until age 65, at 65 central states pension fund then starts paying the drivers pension that they accrued before Jan 1, 2008. CSPF is on track to be bankrupt by 2025, two years before i hit 65. So i will never get a dime of CSPF, UPS will have to pay my CSPF portion for the third time. And I'm sure the cheap health insurance is going to disappear. Nobody wants a bailout for CSPF more than me. It's just not logical for one to happen. I know this won't be taken well. But NUCPP's strategy is a grown up version of a two year olds temper tantrum. The fact that we threaten law makers who we want money from doesn't help our cause. The united mine workers tried to take out Sen. McConnell, not one union miner left in KY. that's why nothing gets gone. got side tracked.

Ah, right. Forgot UPS' agreement in that whole deal. Right on.
