Just curious as to what speed are the fedex freight trucks...I'm pegging 62, turbo screaming and you freight guys still blow my doors off, cant keep up.

In my neck of the woods it's 64 to 66 depending on the truck. Foot to the floor unless it's icy.

In California truck speed limit is 55. If you hang around 59-60 they will usually leave you alone. Once you cross the Arizona border, the truck speed limit is 75. Most of the California trucks will do 65-66. That's still fast enough to pass a Con-way truck, but slow enough to upset the chicken haulers, but how cares about those clowns anyway. TP

Not the ones I see. They drive the truck like they drive the fork lift. Mash the gas, tote that ass... (up to 65 or the ditch)

Goofy bastards all try to hit 65 in the yard.

Now back in the day,........Viking trucks were only limited by the size of your balls. Back when it was truthful to say
"Pass a Greyhound, get a ticket. Pass a Viking, go to jail.

Well up here my truck gets 70 before the govenor kicks in. Usually on my run there are not many who can stay up, except a few independants.

With a lot of our trucks it depends on the drive tires. If you have Virgin rubber you'll roll slower due to the tire being smaller. The more recapped that have been done to the tire that bigger it is and the faster it will roll.
