ABF | Linehaul?

Are the linehaul drivers out of North Lima Ohio home everyday or do they run the system? Thanks!

Hello, we do a lot of turns out of north Lima ohio, but we also do bed runs. Ex. Chicago, Avenel nj, orange ct. we turn Carlisle pa all day long. Until u get a Carlisle turn bid u will not be guaranteed a turn. It takes at least 10 years to get a Carlisle bid. 6 trips gets u 48 hours off. Great insurance and . There is a lot more, but I’m tired. Take care

No problem. We are a hog board so if it is slow it might take a while to get called. It’s all about seniority. The hardest thing about the job is your sleep pattern. On day u might run days the next nights. U might lay all day and get called in the evening. U might get called right on rest. U just never know. After getting called u have 2 hours to report to work. So for example u get called at noon, your dispatch time is 2pm.

If u can deal with the waiting for a work call the money and benefits are great. U would start around 56 cents a mile and 1 year full rate. Benefits are paid for 100 percent. Vacation is 1 year 1 week, 2 years 2 weeks, 8 years 3 weeks, 15 years 4 weeks, 20 years 5 weeks, 30 years 6 weeks. Hope this info helps
