just got interview for kinder morgan out of southside of chicago the union there is local 150 oerating of engineers.does anyone know if this is a good union or not hopefully its not like 710

Not sure about the question you ask.But I haul gas out of a Kinder-Morgan Rack and the people who work there say its a great place to work.By the way I`m in SC

Local 150 runs controls both Joliet and Countryside. There good out of both areas, just different county rules.

The operating engineers union seems to be much better than ours. My brother got on with them about a year ago and the pay and job is much better.

150 should be good for you simply because your not running heavy equipment . Am not sure if they are reciprocal with the teamsters .I use to go in Kinder Morgan at Archer and Roberts Rd. Bedford Park the guy checks your truck with a stick and mirror before ya can enter the plant . The heavy equipment side of 150 is pretty much a seasonal job not much in the winter months . From what I saw it looked ok never heard anything bad not like Roadway . Good luck and congratulations on getting out from Roadway /YRC it's got to be better than that .
