Our BA's were waiting for us tonight whenm we came in. They discussed the plan. They did not have answers to most of the questions.

They seemed happy we weren't stringing them up. They told us " we were told to sell this" They also claimed that they relayed our feeling from the first meeting that we were a full NO !!!! They explained that this wasn't a concession it was an opening of the NMFA. They explained that was why instead of the normal 75% passing rate for a concession it would be a 50% plus 1 vote. Talk about swaying the odds in their favor & this came from our TEAMSTER LEADERS !! You need to ask your BA's about this & PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU VOTE & JUST CHECK THE BOX ...WE WERE TOLD THAT ANY BALLOTS WITH OTHER MARKINGS OR COMMENTS WOULD NOT BE COUNTED. !!

REMEMBER GUYS IT'S UP TO US. WE CAN STOP THIS HERE & NOW BUT IT TAKES EVERYONE OF YOU !! EVERYONE!! THEY ANNOUNCE A BIG LOSS TODAY FOR THE 1ST QUARTER .....YET THEY PAY OUT A 3 CENT DIVIDEN ON THE STOCK THAT THEY ARE THE MAJORITY OWNERS OF YESTERDAY !!! YESTERDAY KEMP, MCREYNOLDS ETC...ETC...GOT PAID !! C'MON MEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!!
 
OK....My 2 key strokes worth....ALL contracts have been voted on by using the 50% plus 1 for many years now...this will be no different....the ONLY Local to say no in the vote at the 2 man was Local 600, St. Louis, or they just sat there and said nothing....with that said....it does not matter if your Local officials are trying to "sell it" or not....it is up to YOU...THE ABF TEAMSTER to get off your collectively bargained asses and vote!

If you believe management.....then vote yes.....if you do not...then vote no, and we will see what ABF's next move is!...Why be pissed off at your Local?...It is a National contract negogiated by The Committee....it is up to YOU if it passes or not!...I'm Just Sayin'.....KK
