Just a little insight on how your first year will be. Work in the industry for awhile but would like info on health insurance for family and how many hours I can expect to work. Understand it will be various hours, just making sure money will be here in the long run. Hoping to hear from someone from the Buffalo terminal but any info will be helpful............

I understand the insurance isn't the greastest for new hires, but after the first year does it get better. Its the same at most LTL companies with ins. Does anyone know if the BUF terminal is steady and could I expect to work 5 days a week. Insurance for the first year, is it still cigna? How are the 4 plans they offer and cost for family coverage? Any info would be great about working here and I understand people will tell me to run but its the same no matter were I look.
It's major medical with a 10K out of pocket limit. LOL And it's basicly free.

And how is the 401K match working out for the new hires?...

If you have a number of years with this company and are holding on to the end...good for you...do what you can...and "Keep the Dream Alive"...
But if you have less than ten years then think about moving on...
Just think about what this company has subjected the employees to in the last five to seven years...lies...changing the rules at will to suit themselves...misdirection and sleight of hand...happy to destroy the retirement plans of many and steal vacations all in the name of a bonus
& a stock option.
It is NOT GOING TO GET BETTER...you have a self serving CEO and a puppet Prez...Dougie Doofus is willing to throw anyone at anytime under the bus to augment his bottom line.
Once you come to grips with this...the decision to move on is much easier...
