Marxisim and the fundamental need to control all aspects of society from your personal freedoms to total population amounts. With the takeover of the healthcare system in America not only did the central government led by those who have fundamental roots in Marxsist Theoligy take control of 1/6th of the overall economy, but they took control of individual choice and paitiant decisions.

From gun control to enviromental policies you can trace back to the teachings of Marx , you see those that would like to deny this fact but once you delve into it you see all the twisted ties to all of it come together.

The fact many Americans ignore, even those that support these programs and movements is the fact that they to will be rolled up and rolled over if we move down this path that is completely opposit of the core that made America the only country in history to allow individual freedoms of not only its citizens but helped those around the world have a template to look to for archiving those freedoms where they reside.

I am a Marxist. And you are making at least two errors: You are not distinguishing between "freedom" and "priviledge." And certain people enjoy priviledges they don't deserve. Second: You are talking about the problem of "control" instead of the problem of who is in control. A person has right to complete control over those things that affect no one else. A worker has a right to complete control over his or her labor. All workers have all rights to complete control of everything they produce. A dictatorship of the workers is a society where those in control are those who a right to it. That is Marx. Obamacare and seatbelt laws and no-smoking laws have nothing to do with Marx.

Communism can be best stated as death by Marxisim since the roots of Communism, Socialism, and today's Progressivism all trace back to Marx and Engles. Central control of production and distribution along with social edicts do and have led to these statistical facts.

Woody Hong Kong will loose that freedom as well when they get folded into the Communist mainland. That may come sooner than the agreed upon treaty when the UK turned it over with China looking at an expansionist program.

How do Marxist explain the failures of Marxism and the genocide that central control inevitably occur's? Well you just don't understand the fantasy that up is down and down is up and that the ultimate utopian society can be realized once we take the initiative out of the hands of the individual and place it in the hands of a central power. That ultimate control of the individual is the freedom or privilege of the state to determine not the individual.

"Government" has a specific meaning that reflects our specific time and place. Governance in a post-capitalist world would likewise reflect that time and place. In a dictatorship of the workers, the workers would obviously decide most things for themselves. They have every right to do so since they created the very society in which they live. However, there would be no such decisions to be made if society was based on the principles of Marxist socialism because there would be no difference between the two. It would be one in the same.

I think one of the best places to begin learning about Marx is probably through Engels' "The Principles of Communism." You can find it here: The Principles of Communism
