WORCESTER Investigators have cited the construction company that owned the dump truck involved in a fiery crash in Worcester on Monday.
An investigation by Worcester and State Police found the truck had inoperative breaks.
The ten-wheel dump truck rolled across Lincoln Street, through a parking lot, hit a Jeep Wrangler and went down a wooden embankment, finally stopping when it crashed into the back of a triple-decker home on Paine Street.
The home caught fire, but the driver, Michael Malaquias, was able to pull himself out of the cab.
Malaquis remains hospitalized in critical condition with severe burns.
CBS4 has also learned inspectors found safety issues with two other vehicles owned by Borges Construction.
