What did YRC do at your terminal?

At 830 Bloomington Ca they spent the week abolishing bids and nothing else.

The Utah scales stopped me. Gave me the red light. Weighmasters surrounded my truck. Then gave me donuts and thanked me for being a driver...

My company cooked breakfast and steaks for lunch all week for the drivers and garage guys. (We have no dock). Gave us tee-shirts and hats
Feels nice to be appreciated ‼️
All we got at YRC is warning letters‼️

Safety first, and CYA!

I think they should have a Retiree Appreciation Day. Usually the peeps under the retiree appreciates that he retired! .....I was on the bottom of the board, I guess no one appreciates me retiring. :crybaby:

breakfast made for all drivers and dock, BBQ for the 2nd and 3rd shift guys and was told our yard was going to be paved. A Brand new 2015 BIG MACK arrived to us only 705 miles on it. Didn't know we were buying Macks for the fleet......

Then I thought is was for ABF since they're directly across the street from us but it was painted white with YRC on it.

Then my mind started to think Conway/ XPO Logistics cause they are next door to us divided only by a fence line. Damn that was some good french toast:peaceful:

Its has been a long time since I came to work and enjoyed putting in a good day of work driving new equipment. Must have been the Big Mack:shift::smilie93c peelout:I had to get use to driving an automatic kept reaching for the stick and trying to engage the clutch.

A box of donuts from a filthy, amoral, tick of a man hell bent on reneging on the contact at every opportunity, does nothing to make this company's awkward gestures of appreciation for their Union employees any more believable.
