So, I will assume that compassion nor forgiveness are either one of your spiritual gifts?they owe 1 quarter of revenue and have the second highest volume in the nation they can pay or die who cares
Yeah FXF is letting a bunch of good experienced drivers go. Should have plenty to choose from.If they do. Yellow should think about a last final push before it really goes under the water. Full pension and $4 raise and knock that 2 tier wages. Start your new drivers at full pay scale and hire the drivers they want and need (pick and choose)
You need 45'x96" trailers and no stacking. You'll be surprised how much freight gets lost idk how. Or damaged because people take longer breaks and then try to run full speed around the corners with freight tipping or trying to make freight fit by crushing it or not checking the weight so light pallets get smashed on and etc. We need better training.
We weren't even asked for proposals yet.I'm hearing the new contract and change are DOA.
Union said 100% pension payments and the company hasn't been heard from since, what proposals would like to submit? We weren't even asked for proposals yet.
I thought the contract says $2.12/hr for and 8 hour day.Union said 100% pension payments and the company hasn't been heard from since, what proposals would like to submit?
Well they are currently putting in. 53 cents an an hour. (75% discount) You have to remember, Yellow, does not abide by any contract, unless there are concessions.I thought the contract says $2.12/hr for and 8 hour day.
And that is what they are putting in.
What do people think they are supposed to be putting in, and what are they actually putting in at other places?
I've been told they put in the contractual amount.Well they are currently putting in. 53 cents an an hour. (75% discount) You have to remember, Yellow, does not abide by any contract, unless there are concessions.
Our TM said the IBT has said that they will start negotiating Aug 1, but that yellow was pushing for earlierUnion said 100% pension payments and the company hasn't been heard from since, what proposals would like to submit?
Eventually this slow freight will pickup and Yellow wants the COO in place to be ready for it. They were thinking it was gonna pickup by April. That's what a Yellow managent told us.Our TM said the IBT has said that they will start negotiating Aug 1, but that yellow was pushing for earlier
That is less then they paid in 2009.I thought the contract says $2.12/hr for and 8 hour day.
And that is what they are putting in.
What do people think they are supposed to be putting in, and what are they actually putting in at other places?
What's it supposed to be at?That is less then they paid in 2009.
It's supposed to be at rate negotiated in the contract as approved by the membership. What's it supposed to be at?
Yellow currently contributes 21.31 a day ( 106.55 a week) into Central States, I assume it's same at the others. The rate prior to 2009 and what ABF contributes is 348.00 a week. You see the problem.....What's it supposed to be at?

I was looking for that kind of thing with numbers. id have to dig for my old contract book and couldn't find it.Yellow currently contributes 21.31 a day( 106.55 a week) into Central States, I assume it's same at the others.
