Serta our trailers are the worst. But your tractors are the worst.:biglaugh:
This is how "O" will show ups a profit. With zero maintanence. We certainly can not show a profit with new customers/freight. For that fact even with old customers!

You got that right! They've been slowly getting rid of them, but for every 100 they buy, we need 150, so the process is slow. Always said we must be the toughest sob's to drive them across the cross bronx:chairshot: :nutkick: <---thats what it feels like going through there!

C'mon Serta,

what could be more fun than driving the cross Bronx 3 or 4 times a day, 5 days a week, in a pumkin???:biglaugh:

I love the Cross Bronx i get to give the Yankee's the finger as i go by the Exit.......

JBG,

what exit would that be? The Crossbronx doesn't pass the Stadium, the Major Deegan Expressway does.

Wish, I had the same opportunity whenever I'm in Boston, but Fenway park is so small that if I blink my eyes, it's out of sight.

flexability is a buzz word for control and making you a slave of the company...done any sleeper driving lately...leo is just looking out for your best interest....you will work 2 hours for nothing why not just make it 8 and they will love you no contract needed.....

I think overnite lost the vision, we are pulling a lot of overnite junk in the west, I now have a new addition to my uniform it is a brown grocery bag so none of my friends or family know its me...overnite has the most pathetic junk and terminals I have ever seen, no wonder our customers we have left will send you packing when they see an overnite trailer arrives to make a delivery or pickup.

HUH which part....Not perfect or Yeah company?????

Niether to be honest with you. They are infact taking some to the cleaners now, but this is a different ball game. we are not owned by O. anymore.

Now I know alot of people may not see this now but in time you will. Remember you heard it hear first when I say out with the old and in with the new. UPS will not tarnish it's name with a buckwheat-opie mantality driven company, that has no responsibility to anything other but the bottom line and a operation's driven company.

Things are going to change!!!!!!

When a company treats a person well and when a company will pay you good wages , not the best but it work's ,gets beni improvment's every year and raises Why bite the hand that feed's you?

Alot of people at Onite. loved the company because it was'nt a whip driven company. And they alway's did what they said they were going to do.Gave us no reason not to believe. And the bottomline is we had a job and were getting paid.

My new jobclass is "Freight Redundancy Specialist".

This Person will have the ability
to tolerate mentally challenged dispatchers
who excell in the art of ignorance redundancy,
and can withstand driving 18 wheelers at
top end speeds in circles.

That may be all true, and I can respect a man having pride in his company. There are many of us had changes forced on us and watched our company go completely away.. And in these things we are hauling less freight and losing customers that we had for many years....This change can not happen fast enough.....Guys are not working and stressed out and the fire is just getting fueled by O management.....

I think the accounts we are loosing is terrible , makes one think if we will still be employed in the next year.

Just figured out from another thread that you don't belong to the disfunctional family and just throwing in your 2 cents? And yes there are many crappy trailers.....
No I don't Greezy, I almost took a job with you guys back in April. Friend of mine is the TM at the terminal. Couldn't take the pay cut, so I'm sticking it out at my current job, Which I do like. Just uncertain at the moment, if my terminal is going to last with the changes they are making.
FYI, I post on all trucking sites, I like to know whats on everyones minds, and always keep my options open. Besides, this place is sometimes pretty comical.:biglaugh:

I agree called the TM and had this very conversation...I told him if they want me to work the dock then lets do it right and not leave freight behind because the leadmand is tired.....If it is there it needs to move....PERIOD
