Does this indicate any merger, sell out, buy out? "Midsouth" in the name always reminds me of a Memphis, TN connection. Hope it does not affect your locations work.

No OleGuy, won't effect work just a name change, however we are in it with Vistar out of Denver, I think they have a controling intrest in us, we changed the name because the powers that be thought PFG wasn't marketable anymore, and Performance foodservice was a better name, I think the tag line is..Give us a taste or taste us, something along those lines.

Probably a good idea. There is a Poconhantas Foods distributor in this area. For a while I equated your PFG with PFInc. Did notice they both won top "Marketing awards". Google Pocohantas and check if out. Nice complimentary piece on both.

We carry pocohantas, fact I deliver 6#10 cans everyday, when we were Quality foods we displayed the Pocahantas name on our trailers, now its more West Creek, Silver Source, Allens, ect., I'll check the article out.
