One of our spotters almost ran over one of our clerk's while she was walking to her car. He said if it wasn't for her pink tote bag she would have been dead. Perhaps HR caught wind of the story and figured that pink shirts could save our lives and if not at least they could identify us by the name on it.

You don't need air lines when the brakes haven't been adjusted since the pads were put on.

Honestly though, least at my barn, we have no free time to hook sets. We're constantly trying to get stuff in the door or out to unload and load. Soon as we slow down, that radio starts exploding.

I understand that. At more terminals than not though the drivers are hooking while there is 2 or more yard trucks out chilling having a nice talk in the corner of the yard. I don’t mind hooking though but I just hate to see freight being held up for whatever reason, every minute counts.
