Passing thru NBR, everytime I do there there is a major turn over.
Now there appears to be major gripes about the union as well.

the starting pay is crap. But you get what you pay for when it comes to exceptions.

I was thinking the same thing almost to 500 for me.

management even agree with this but the upper management says no way. I think its to much of this place trying to be run like package is the problem.

Small package is far removed from freight, but I agree with what you are saying.

There is no comparison between freight and package operations on the dock. But now ups is using their management to run upsf.

Is That good or bad?

As A road Driver I think it is B$$lsh**T they expect you to drive 10 hours a night and then work on the dock for 2-3 hours while you are there.

If you want to, more power to ya but personally I don't

Perhaps the load shifts or the driver is speeding, going into corners - thus causing turn overs. Hope this helps...

what im referring to is how the operations are run. we have a bigger next day lane compared to small pack, and i have tracked their packages before and to me its seems that sometimes the routing can really screwy. i have seen a package going from columbus oh to dallas tx go to chicago first and then on the way down to dallas.
