What is happening to XPO ? We lost all the freight in our area, what is happening people.
What upper Midwest are you in? All I’ve heard is OT is being cut and it’s slow.Crying for drivers in the upper Midwest. More work than drivers, ot every day.
Where do you work?? We have loads of guys making 20+ hours ot every week. Freight coming out our asses. Begging for guys to stay.
Same thing happening here in my areaWhat is happening to XPO ? We lost all the freight in our area, what is happening people.
I sent the united states treasury a check a few weeks ago hope your pops enjoys itMy daddy wants to flush the employees by starving them out. So he doesn't have to pay unemployment. Line-haul is the biggest expense. If daddy puts the freight on outsourced carriers it saves $1500-$2000 a run then he doesn't need you anymore. Which means daddies liability just went down and makes us more savory to another company to buy us.
Move on down to the south....you'll get 10 a day, then they'll send you home.FOS are sending me home on my 8 almost every day.
Funny you should mention that. I'm most likely moving to Alabama sometime over the summer.Move on down to the south....you'll get 10 a day, then they'll send you home.
Plenty of hours, no OT pay.Funny you should mention that. I'm most likely moving to Alabama sometime over the summer.
That's 10more hours I would work. For 30 bbbbucks an hour I'll take it. I barely get 40Move on down to the south....you'll get 10 a day, then they'll send you home.
This whole place is a disaster. These people running this place could f!@# up a one can milk routeThey closed a couple last last mile facilities near us and Lowe’s is also ready to give them a boot due to poor service.

You got that right , I just filled out applications with two other carriers over this past weekend . Already had a phone interview with one.
It's hiring season. And it's been a tough winter for XPO. If they think last summer was bad for losing drivers or that 84 cents is gonna keep a man. Well, they can just sit back with their popcorn in their big shiny office and see the results for themselves. I did appreciate the 34 cents an hour instead of the stupid no bonus " bonus program ". So it was a respectable $1.14 an hour raise this year. Problem is that they dropped the ball last year. And the competition is still in front in terms of compensation. And more and more guys are buying their own trucks. There is just so much freight out there. And day in day out we are going into places that are asking us if we know anyone that can get it moved. There is a lot of opportunity if you are willing to take the risk.
We all figure it somehow makes their numbers look better to lose drivers. Being as they not at all in a panic about losing freight or man power. It must all synergize somehow. And make them look like fantastic management experts worthy of monster bonuses.
You got that right HS about guys bugging out to buy their own tractors to be their own bosses. For example we had a 20 plus year vet who quit last year who bought his own tractor and is hauling containers from local ship and rail yards. Another 15 year vet left last week and is doing the same thing. I talked to another old timer with the company and he’s on the verge a buying his own truck and joining that crew. It's hiring season.
