Sadly, we don't get the Government WE derserve.....but the ones who pay for the Politicians are getting what they want......and I don't see that equation changing anytime soon...
Even if he makes it to the White House there are 2 houses of Congress he'll have to deal with and if they don't like him I don't

It was sunk when Trump's new advisors were Establishment Bob Dole's old advisors and Mitch McConnell broke the rules. Even a major Trump donor quit and left the Convention after Priebus refused to accept a legally filed Roll Call Petition. I don't think Trump's voters really wanted him partnering with Dole and McConnell when they voted?

Hardly. Bob Dole's old advisors are running things in the Trump Campaign now, brought along by Paul Manafort. Mcconnell's licking his chops to work with Trump. It means he keeps his Majority post and can skim off the top...

Trump didn't get the unity message. Same time one of his surrogates were calling for unity, he was on O'REILLY bashing Kasich (who I don't like, but whatever). And the Ohio (Host) Delegation was moved from the front to the back. Half of them left. Utah defied the rules and voted 100% for Cruz, against their results.
It's a Convention. It's supposed to be ruckus..
Yea what's up with those mormans and the Trump hate? Romney, Beck,Utah, Mike Lee. There's something there. Romney didn't put as much effort in defeating Obama.
Mostly, because they live Conservative lives in line with the Constitution. Something Trump rarely mentions.
Utah is about THE MOST Red State in the Union. They normally vote 70% or better Repub. Trump polls anywhere from 3-14% in Utah right now.
Romney had 90% of the Repub Base in 2012 and lost. Trump has 50-70%. Better court some Conservatives or he could lose to the Worst Candidate (Hillary) ever. Send him the memo.... Conservatives don't want Hillary. Give us Something!!!!!! Trump coddling up to Mcconnell and Dole just is Wrong!

Nah there's more to it than that. Romney certainly isn't what I'd call a strong conservative.
He's from Michigan. His Dad owned American Motors. Only link to Utah is Mormonism.
The Lee's are STRONG Conservatives. Cruz is a strong conservative. Utah people are mountain people. They want left alone for the most part. Trump is Obamalike. Huge Exec Control. That doesn't sell in Utah, except downtown SLC.
I'll have to check what Trump said while he campaigned there...(or here. I'm delivering here in SLC in the morning)

More votes than any other Republican,in a primary.Im sure some of you would like to have had the delegates tell you who was the most deserving,instead of actually counting the votes,but it wasn't happening.
First, he also had the lowest winning percentage ever. That means more voters voted Against him than any candidate in history, too.
The rules that weren't allowed to be voted on gave Priebus and the Establishment More Power than ever. One powerful Trump Donor quit because of the new rules. This means that Priebus will now go into a Third Establishment Term. That Haley Barbour will stick around running things behind the scenes since the 1990s, and Mitch McConnell will still decide who gets what power. That's what Trump voters just gave up, but that what they say they're running Against!?!?!? Everything you say you're for went out the window in this Convention.
