Old Trucks From The Past

The first Semi tractor manufacturers were Mack & White.
Here is an old Overnite B-Modle Mack.

I think it had a Cummins Big Cam. I'll have to ask the guy next time I see him.

Yup, That sounds just about right. I think the red top is the IXS engine. The advantage is the variable injector timing. The Big Cam still ran off the injection running off the cam.
 
The red top is the N-14. The ISX is red all over.

So which came first the ISX? I was working on a fleet of Macks back then so I kinda missed out. A buddy of mine swears by the ISX though. I have a N-14 in the Kenworth I am driving at the moment.
