Wow, first time I've ever see an "H" configured that way, with the set back front axle.

Good old "H" model Macks, first tractors I drove in 1966 at Vornado/2-Guys.
I think that was Tri following his Loran!
They were both good freight tractors.
That's a Ford I think.Wow, first time I've ever see an "H" configured that way, with the set back front axle.
Good lunch HOUR truck
I drove those Fords for Johnson Motor Lines and Roadway but I never saw one of those tractors in all the years I worked at P.I.E. Nice picture.

Yes I do. I remember driving a ford with a long nose on it #2002 when I worked out of the P.I.E. terminal in Hackensack.Remember the International gas jobs?
We had a similar IHC road tractor in the 50s with a JT Cummins and 8 spd roadranger on the column.Remember the International gas jobs?
Hookman, do you know where this terminal was located?
Roady, I can say for sure it wasn't Hackensack!Hookman, do you know where this terminal was located?
Might be in California somewhere from the looks on that license plate.Hookman, do you know where this terminal was located?
That the spot tucked away behind Riverside Sq Mall now?Yes I do. I remember driving a ford with a long nose on it #2002 when I worked out of the P.I.E. terminal in Hackensack.
That's the one FC. Working out of that terminal was the shortest commute I ever had on any job. Sad day when they closed it and sent some of us to Moonachie and others to Spring Valley. I was sent to the zoo at Moonachie but eventually transferred to Spring Valley, a much nicer operation. Ah, the good old days. That the spot tucked away behind Riverside Sq Mall now?

Triplex, I felt the same way at the time. Ten minute drive from my house to Hackensack. But being I'm Italian I got the chance to go to Spring Valley . Eventually we let other nationalities join the fun we had up there . It was good working you for those years. That's the one FC.
